Rusk Eagles (Rusk, TX) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Palestine Wildcats (Palestine, TX), 3-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Eagles battle the Center Roughriders (Center, TX) in a 4A Region III District 17 match, on Friday, October 1. Rusk will attempt to advance on its 14-14 season record. The Roughriders come into the match with a 8-17 record after their 3-1 league loss to Palestine (Palestine, TX).

With the loss, Palestine drops to 12-15 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Jasper (Jasper, TX) to battle the Bulldogs in a 4A Region III District 17 match on Friday, October 1. The Bulldogs come into the match with a record of 5-5. Jasper lost 3-0 in their recent league match against Carthage (Carthage, TX)
