In Saturday's league battle, the host Valley Vikings soccer squad scored a close 4-1 triumph over the Del Norte Knights.
The Vikings (4-14) will now prepare for their battle against Bernalillo (Bernalillo, NM). The Spartans come into the 4A District 6 battle with a 3-11 record. In their last battle, Bernalillo by Del Norte (Albuquerque, NM), 4-2, in a league battle.
The Knights (3-15) will now prepare for their battle against Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM). The Huskies come into the 4A District 6 battle with a 19-0 record. In their last battle, Hope Christian nudged Valley (Albuquerque, NM), 12-0, in a league battle.
