Nebraska High School Volleyball - David City can't hold off Sutton

In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Sutton Mustangs volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the David City Scouts.

The Mustangs (20-4) will now prepare for their battle against Lutheran-Northeast (Norfolk, NE). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 9-17 record. In their last battle, Lutheran-Northeast was edged by Lakeview (Columbus, NE), 3-2, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Scouts clash with the Bishop Neumann Cavaliers (Wahoo, NE) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 15. David City will attempt to advance on its 13-11 season record. The Cavaliers come into the battle with a 13-11 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Scotus (Columbus, NE).
