The Islands Sharks volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Wayne County Yellow Jackets to 0 in the Sharks non-league victory on Saturday.
The Sharks now have a 31-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southeast Bulloch for a non-league game on Saturday, October 15. Islands will meet a Yellowjackets team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Toombs County (Lyons, GA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 21-11.
The Yellow Jackets (21-8) will now prepare for their game against New Hampstead (Savannah, GA). The Phoenix enter the 4A Area 3 game with a 22-14 record.
