In Thursday's league battle, the host Islands Sharks volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Wayne County Yellow Jackets.

The Sharks (8-2) will now prepare for their battle against Savannah Christian (Savannah, GA). The Raiders come into the non-league battle with a 9-6 record.

Next, the Yellow Jackets clash with the McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers (Darien, GA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 8. Wayne County will attempt to advance on its 9-3 season record.
