In Saturday's league battle, the host Pahranagat Valley Panthers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Mineral County Serpents.

The Panthers (15-8) will now prepare for their battle against Round Mountain (Round Mountain, NV). The Knights come into the 1A Central battle with a 13-5 record. In their last battle, Round Mountain achieved victory over Tonopah (Tonopah, NV), 3-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Serpents clash with the Pyramid Lake Lakers (Nixon, NV) in a 1A Western battle, on Thursday, October 20. Mineral County will attempt to advance on its 2-14 season record.
