The Cowboys (7-13) will now prepare for their outing against Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon (Henderson, NV). The Pirate go into the 3A Southern - Mountain outing with a 0-11 record. In their last outing, Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon by Pahrump Valley (Pahrump, NV), 13-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Knights confront the Mojave Rattlers (North Las Vegas, NV) in a 3A Southern - Mountain outing, on Thursday, October 17. Mater Academy East Las Vegas will attempt to improve on its 9-9 season record. The Rattlers go into the outing with a 4-6 record after their 7-1 league loss to Sports Leadership & Management (Henderson, NV).
