The Adams Cougars volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Spruce Timberwolves to 0 in the Cougars league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cougars now have a 12-10 record. They play next when they host Seagoville for a 5A Region II District 14 outing on Friday, October 18. Adams will play a Dragons team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Poteet (Mesquite, TX). The Dragons record now stands at 6-11.

With the loss, Spruce drops to 0-16 on the campaign. The Timberwolves host West Mesquite (Mesquite, TX) to play the Wranglers in a 5A Region II District 14 outing on Friday, October 18. The Wranglers come into the outing with a record of 10-21. West Mesquite lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Wilson (Dallas, TX)
