The Adams Cougars volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Spruce Timberwolves to 0 in the Cougars league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now have a 8-7 record. They play next when they travel to Seagoville for a 5A Region II District 14 outing on Tuesday, September 24. Adams will play a Dragons team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Poteet (Mesquite, TX). The Dragons record now stands at 5-5.

With the loss, Spruce drops to 0-9 on the campaign. The Timberwolves travel to West Mesquite (Mesquite, TX) to play the Wranglers in a 5A Region II District 14 outing on Tuesday, September 24. The Wranglers come into the outing with a record of 7-17. West Mesquite lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Wilson (Dallas, TX)
