In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Ashland Grizzlies volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Springfield Millers.
The Grizzlies (5-9) will now prepare for their challenge against North Eugene (Eugene, OR). The Highlanders enter the 5A Midwestern challenge with a 9-6 record. In their last challenge, North Eugene beat Eagle Point (Eagle Point, OR), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Millers meet the Eagle Point Eagles (Eagle Point, OR) in a 5A Midwestern challenge, on Thursday, October 17. Springfield will attempt to upgrade on its 5-15 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 2-14 record after their 3-0 league loss to North Eugene (Eugene, OR).
