The Ashland Grizzlies volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Springfield Millers to 0 in the Grizzlies league triumph on Thursday.

The Grizzlies now have a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to North Eugene for a 5A Midwestern outing on Monday, September 23. Ashland will play a Highlanders team coming off a 3-0 league win over Eagle Point (Eagle Point, OR). The Highlanders record now stands at 4-4.

With the loss, Springfield drops to 3-4 on the campaign. The Millers travel to Marist (Eugene, OR) to face the Spartans in a non-league test on Saturday, September 21. The Spartans go into the test with a record of 5-0. Marist won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Cascade (Turner, OR)
