The Sulphur Bluff Bears volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Avery Bulldogs to 2 in the Bears league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bears now have a 13-15 record. They play next when they travel to Union Hill for a 1A Region III District 22 outing on Friday, October 18. Sulphur Bluff will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Miller Grove (Cumby, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-17.

With the loss, Avery drops to 10-14 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Miller Grove (Cumby, TX) to play the Hornets in a 1A Region III District 22 outing on Friday, October 18. The Hornets come into the outing with a record of 5-25. Miller Grove won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Union Hill (Gilmer, TX)
