The Avery Bulldogs topped the visiting Sulphur Bluff Bears volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Thursday's league game.
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Miller Grove Hornets (Cumby, TX) in a 1A Region III District 22 game, on Tuesday, October 29. Avery will attempt to advance on its 13-14 season record. The Hornets go into the game with a 6-27 record after their 3-0 league win over Union Hill (Gilmer, TX).
The Bears (15-16) will now prepare for their game against Union Hill (Gilmer, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 1A Region III District 22 game with a 2-20 record. In their last game, Union Hill was dropped by Miller Grove (Cumby, TX), 3-0, in a league game.
