The Essex Hornets topped the host Champlain Valley Union Redhawks volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Tuesday's league game.
Next up, the Hornets confront the Bellows Free Academy Bobwhites/Comets (St. Albans, VT) in a non-league game, on Thursday, October 17. Essex will attempt to advance on its 13-0 season record.
The Redhawks (9-4) will now prepare for their game against Rice Memorial (South Burlington, VT). The Green Knights go into the Northern game with a 0-12 record. In their last game, Rice Memorial was dropped by South Burlington (South Burlington, VT), 3-1, in a league game.
