Texas High School Volleyball - Seguin can't get by Floresville

Floresville Tigers (Floresville, TX) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Seguin Matadors (Seguin, TX), 3-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Floresville advances its record to 28-7 on the season. The Tigers travel to Uvalde (Uvalde, TX) to face the Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) in a 4A Region IV District 27 test on Friday, October 18. The Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) go into the test with a record of 2-18.

The Matadors now sport a 24-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Edison for a 5A Region IV District 27 test on Friday, October 18. Seguin will face a Golden Bears squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Jefferson (San Antonio, TX). The Golden Bears record now stands at 16-15.
