Match Summary

Our Varsity match finale was an exciting one! Starting in Set 1, the Lady Falcons were hitting hard, we were struggling with our serve and serve receive and not getting much offensive pressure. After Set 1, though, we righted the ship, got our serving back on target, started landing aces and started making plays. We also ramped up our defense, with Sr. Captain Kayla Zeiss leading the way with 6 digs. Led by Sr. Nicole McWilson's serving, we pummeled the Lady Falcons from the serve line and then followed up with great play at the net, keeping pressure on them up front. The Falcons' defense was good, and they continued to make solid hits on us, but our girls had the edge, the determination and the passion to play well and win this match. Our girls achieved an especially good comeback in the third set, down by almost 10 points! Nicole led us on a 9 point serving run to take a 1 point lead, and then two rotations later, Miley served us out, punctuating the set win with a service Ace!
