Sweeny Bulldogs (Sweeny, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Wharton Tigers (Wharton, TX), 3-0 in a league bout.

The Bulldogs now possess a 27-10 record. They play next when they host Columbia for a 4A Region IV District 29 bout on Friday, October 18. Sweeny will clash with a Roughnecks team coming off a 3-2 league loss to El Campo (El Campo, TX). The Roughnecks record now stands at 20-14.

With the loss, Wharton drops to 2-24 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to El Campo (El Campo, TX) to clash with the Ricebirds in a 4A Region IV District 29 bout on Friday, October 18.
