The Sequoyah Chiefs softball team scored 2 runs and held the visiting Lassiter Trojans to 1 in the Chiefs non-league win on Wednesday.
The Chiefs now possess a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lassiter for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, October 15. Sequoyah will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 5-3 non-league win over Blessed Trinity (Roswell, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 15-5.
The Trojans (15-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Sequoyah (Canton, GA). The Chiefs enter the non-league challenge with a 5-8 record. In their last challenge, Sequoyah was nudged by Etowah (Woodstock, GA), 5-4, in a non-league challenge.
