The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Lassiter Trojans (Marietta, GA) and the visiting Sequoyah Chiefs (Canton, GA), observed Lassiter's softball team get by Sequoyah by a tally of 9-5.

The Trojans (2-0) will now prepare for their bout against Woodstock (Woodstock, GA). The Wolverines go into the non-league bout with a 0-4 record.

The Chiefs now possess a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pope for a non-league match on Tuesday, September 9.
