Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Istrouma Indians (Baton Rouge, LA) and the host Baker Buffaloes (Baker, LA), observed Istrouma's volleyball team top Baker by a count of 3-1.

The Indians (18-7) will now prepare for their contest against Parkview Baptist (Baton Rouge, LA). The Eagles enter the Division III District 5 contest with a 13-10 record. In their last contest, Parkview Baptist notched a victory over Teurlings Catholic (Lafayette, LA), 3-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Buffaloes meet the Episcopal Knights (Baton Rouge, LA) in a Division IV District 6 contest, on Monday, October 20. Baker will attempt to move on its 5-6 season record. The Knights enter the contest with a 9-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Dunham (Baton Rouge, LA).
