Grundy Golden Wave (Grundy, VA) followers left the game satisfied Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Tazewell Bulldogs (Tazewell, VA), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Grundy advances its record to 18-5 on the season. The Golden Wave host Hurley (Hurley, VA) to face the Rebels in a Black Diamond challenge on Thursday, October 16. The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 1-11. Hurley lost 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Phelps (Phelps, KY)
Next, the Bulldogs play the Virginia High Bearcats (Bristol, VA) in a Southwest challenge, on Thursday, October 16. Tazewell will attempt to upgrade on its 2-14 season record. The Bearcats go into the game with a 4-16 record after their 3-0 league loss to Marion (Marion, VA).
