In Thursday's non-league test, the visiting Grundy Golden Wave volleyball squad scored a 3-0 win over the Tazewell Bulldogs.

With the win, Grundy improves its record to 11-4 on the season. The Golden Wave host Twin Valley (Pilgrims Knob, VA) to face the Panthers in a Black Diamond challenge on Wednesday, September 24. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 0-3. Twin Valley lost 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Graham (Bluefield, VA)

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Lebanon Pioneers (Lebanon, VA) in a Southwest challenge, on Tuesday, September 23. Tazewell will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Honaker (Honaker, VA).
