The Elkin Buckin' Elks soccer team scored 9 points and limited the host Alleghany Trojans to 0 in the Buckin' Elks league victory on Monday.

Next, the Buckin' Elks face the Mount Airy Granite Bears (Mount Airy, NC) in a Northwest 1A contest, on Wednesday, October 18. Elkin will attempt to better on its 14-3 season record. The Granite Bears enter the contest with a 15-0 record after their 4-0 league win over East Wilkes (Ronda, NC).

The Trojans now have a 1-12 record. They take the field next when they host Starmount for a Northwest 1A contest on Wednesday, October 18. Alleghany will face a Rams team coming off a 1-0 league win over South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC). The Rams record now stands at 9-7.
