North Carolina High School Soccer - Alleghany overwhelmed by Elkin

The crowd at Wednesday's league test between the Elkin Buckin' Elks (Elkin, NC) and the visiting Alleghany Trojans (Sparta, NC), saw Elkin's soccer squad triumph over Alleghany by a count of 9-0.

The Buckin' Elks now hold a 8-0 record. They play next when they travel to Davie for a non-league test on Thursday, September 21. Elkin will meet a War Eagles squad coming off a 6-0 league loss to West Forsyth (Clemmons, NC). The War Eagles record now stands at 0-11.

With the loss, Alleghany drops to 1-5 on the season. The Trojans host Starmount (Boonville, NC) to meet the Rams in a Northwest 1A test on Monday, September 25. The Rams come into the test with a record of 4-6. Starmount 3-3 in their recent league test against South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC)
