The Walatowa Charter Cougars volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Jemez Valley Warriors to 0 in the Cougars league victory on Monday.

The Cougars now possess a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chesterton Academy for a 1A District 7 game on Tuesday, October 17. Walatowa Charter will meet a Saints team coming off a 3-0 league win over New Mexico School for the Deaf (Santa Fe, NM). The Saints record now stands at 9-4.

The Warriors (2-13) will now prepare for their game against Legacy Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Silverbacks enter the 1A District 7 game with a 12-2 record. In their last game, Legacy Academy defeated Coronado (Gallina, NM), 3-0, in a league game.
