In Monday's league battle, the host Jemez Valley Warriors volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Walatowa Charter Cougars.

The Warriors (4-17) will now prepare for their battle against Legacy Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Silverbacks come into the 1A District 7 battle with a 18-2 record. In their last battle, Legacy Academy nudged Coronado (Gallina, NM), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Cougars clash with the Chesterton Academy Saints (Albuquerque, NM) in a 1A District 7 battle, on Tuesday, November 7. Walatowa Charter will attempt to advance on its 4-7 season record. The Saints come into the battle with a 14-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy (Albuquerque, NM).
