Triad Math and Science Academy Bengals (Greensboro, NC) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Phoenix Academy Firebirds (High Point, NC), 7-2 in a league test.

With the triumph, Triad Math and Science Academy moves its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Bengals travel to Cornerstone Charter (Greensboro, NC) to clash with the Cardinals in a Northwest Piedmont 1A/2A test on Tuesday, October 21. The Cardinals come into the test with a record of 6-8.

The Firebirds now have a 4-12 record. They take the field next when they host Bethany Community for a Northwest Piedmont 1A/2A outing on Tuesday, October 21. Phoenix Academy will play a Wolves squad coming off a 8-2 league win over Piedmont Classical (Browns Summit, NC). The Wolves record now stands at 10-8.
