The Southland Academy Raiders softball squad (Americus, GA), was routed 6-1 in Thursday's non-league contest with the host Southwest Georgia Academy Warriors (Damascus, GA)
The Warriors (19-5) will now prepare for their bout against Brentwood (Sandersville, GA). The War Eagles go into the non-league bout with a 20-1 record. In their last bout, Brentwood tipped Trinity Christian (Dublin, GA), 14-1, in a non-league contest.
The Raiders now hold a 19-8 record. They play next when they travel to Briarwood Academy for a non-league contest on Friday, October 17. Southland Academy will face a Buccaneers team coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Gatewood (Eatonton, GA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 11-9.
