Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA) boosters were pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the host Albemarle Patriots (Charlottesville, VA), 3-2 in a league challenge.

The Warriors (17-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Louisa County (Mineral, VA). The Lions come into the Jefferson challenge with a 10-8 record.

Next, the Patriots meet the Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA) in a Jefferson challenge, on Tuesday, October 21. Albemarle will attempt to upgrade on its 11-10 season record. The Black Knights go into the test with a 5-14 record after their 3-1 league loss to Monticello (Charlottesville, VA).
