With the win, Western Albemarle improves its record to 10-4 on the season. The Warriors travel to Louisa County (Mineral, VA) to encounter the Lions in a Jefferson battle on Thursday, September 25. The Lions go into the battle with a record of 5-5. Louisa County won 3-2 in their recent league battle against Goochland (Goochland, VA)

The Patriots now own a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fluvanna County for a Jefferson contest on Tuesday, September 30. Albemarle will battle a Flying Flucos team coming off a 3-0 league win over Monticello (Charlottesville, VA). The Flying Flucos record now stands at 13-1.
