In Thursday's league match, the Argo Argonauts (Summit, IL) volleyball squad defeated the visiting Bremen Braves (Midlothian, IL), by a count of 2-0.
The Argonauts (15-14) will now prepare for their contest against Thornwood (South Holland, IL). The Thunderbirds enter the non-league contest with a 17-15 record. In their last contest, Thornwood was knocked off by Kankakee (Kankakee, IL), 2-0, in a league contest.
Next, the Braves meet the Thornton Wildcats (Harvey, IL) in a non-league battle, on Monday, October 20. Bremen will attempt to improve on its 4-23 season record. The Wildcats go into the battle with a 9-14 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Butler (Chicago, IL).
