Illinois High School Volleyball - Ashton-Franklin Center Eastland

In Thursday's league challenge, the host Eastland Cougars volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Ashton-Franklin Center Raiders.

The Cougars (20-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Newman Central Catholic (Sterling, IL). The Comets come into the non-league challenge with a 11-16 record. In their last challenge, Newman Central Catholic beat Kewanee (Kewanee, IL), 2-0, in a league test.

The Raiders now sport a 4-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eastland for a non-league test on Saturday, October 18. Ashton-Franklin Center will face a Cougars squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Ashton-Franklin Center (Ashton, IL). The Cougars record now stands at 20-8.
