The Whitney Point Eagles volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Groton Indians to 0 in the Eagles league victory on Monday.
The Eagles now possess a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dryden for a Section 4 Interscholastic game on Wednesday, October 19. Whitney Point will meet a Lions team coming off a 3-0 league win over Southern Cayuga (Poplar Ridge, NY). The Lions record now stands at 8-7.
The Indians (0-9) will now prepare for their game against Dryden (Dryden, NY). The Lions enter the Section 4 Interscholastic game with a 9-7 record. In their last game, Dryden defeated Whitney Point (Whitney Point, NY), 3-1, in a league game.
