The Groton Indians volleyball team (Groton, NY), went down 3-0 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Whitney Point Eagles (Whitney Point, NY)

The Eagles (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Dryden (Dryden, NY). The Lions enter the Section 4 Interscholastic challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Dryden defeated Southern Cayuga (Poplar Ridge, NY), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Indians play the Dryden Lions (Dryden, NY) in a Section 4 Interscholastic bout, on Wednesday, September 28. Groton will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Whitney Point (Whitney Point, NY).
