The Rancho Cotate Cougars volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Piner Prospectors to 0 in the Cougars league victory on Tuesday.
The Cougars now have a 17-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ukiah for a game on Thursday, October 19. Rancho Cotate will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 2-0 league win over Healdsburg (Healdsburg, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 15-4.
The Prospectors (1-5) will now prepare for their game against St. Vincent de Paul (Petaluma, CA). The Mustangs enter the game with a 7-14 record. In their last game, St. Vincent de Paul gained a win over Elsie Allen (Santa Rosa, CA), 2-0, in a league game.
