The Annandale Atoms volleyball team (Annandale, VA), was dropped 3-0 in Tuesday's league challenge with the visiting Edison Eagles (Alexandria, VA)

The Eagles (5-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Lewis (Springfield, VA). The Lancers enter the National challenge with a 6-9 record. In their last challenge, Lewis was dropped by Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology (Alexandria, VA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Atoms meet the Mount Vernon Majors (Alexandria, VA) in a National challenge, on Wednesday, October 18. Annandale will attempt to move on its 1-13 season record. The Majors enter the challenge with a 1-13 record after their 3-0 league loss to Hayfield (Alexandria, VA).
