The Edison Eagles volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Annandale Atoms to 1 in the Eagles league victory on Monday.

The Eagles now possess a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lewis for a National game on Wednesday, September 20. Edison will meet a Lancers team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology (Alexandria, VA). The Lancers record now stands at 4-4.

The Atoms (1-6) will now prepare for their game against Mount Vernon (Alexandria, VA). The Majors enter the National game with a 0-6 record. In their last game, Mount Vernon was dropped by Hayfield (Alexandria, VA), 3-0, in a league game.
