The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Staunton River Golden Eagles (Moneta, VA) and the host Fleming Colonels (Roanoke, VA), saw Staunton River's volleyball squad beat Fleming by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Staunton River upgrades its record to 8-11 on the year. The Golden Eagles host Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA) to play the Cavaliers in a Blue Ridge bout on Thursday, October 19. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 16-4. Lord Botetourt won 3-1 in their recent league bout against Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA)

The Colonels now own a 1-18 record. They play next when they travel to William Byrd for a Blue Ridge bout on Thursday, October 19. Fleming will play a Terriers squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Northside (Roanoke, VA). The Terriers record now stands at 7-12.
