Texas High School Volleyball - Lone Star over Newman Smith

Lone Star Rangers (Frisco, TX) backers left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Newman Smith Trojans (Carrollton, TX), 3-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Rangers battle the The Colony Cougars (The Colony, TX) in a 5A Region II District 9 match, on Friday, October 20. Lone Star will attempt to better on its 20-13 season record. The Cougars come into the match with a 16-18 record after their 3-1 league win over Frisco (Frisco, TX).

With the loss, Newman Smith drops to 5-23 on the campaign. The Trojans host Turner (Carrollton, TX) to battle the Lions in a 5A Region II District 9 match on Friday, October 20. The Lions come into the match with a record of 10-21. Turner lost 3-0 in their recent league match against Reedy (Frisco, TX)
