Texas High School Volleyball - Newman Smith crushed by Lone Star

The Lone Star Rangers topped the visiting Newman Smith Trojans volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Friday's league test.

The Rangers now have a 14-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host The Colony for a 5A Region II District 9 test on Tuesday, September 26. Lone Star will confront a Cougars team coming off a 3-1 league win over Frisco (Frisco, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 12-15.

The Trojans (4-17) will now prepare for their test against Creekview (Carrollton, TX). The Mustangs enter the 5A Region II District 9 test with a 8-19 record.
