California High School Flag Football - Monterey Trail overwhelmed by Pleasant Grove

October 17, 2024: Elk Grove, CA 95624

The Pleasant Grove Eagles walloped the visiting Monterey Trail Mustangs flag football team by a score of 40-0 in Thursday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles face the Sheldon Huskies (Sacramento, CA) in a Delta League challenge, on Tuesday, October 22. Pleasant Grove will attempt to improve on its 14-2 season record. The Huskies enter the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 35-33 non-league loss to Florin (Sacramento, CA).

The Mustangs (4-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Elk Grove (Elk Grove, CA). The Thundering Herd enter the Delta League challenge with a 3-12 record. In their last challenge, Elk Grove was ripped by Cosumnes Oaks (Elk Grove, CA), 12-6, in a league challenge.
