Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV) and the visiting Battle Mountain Longhorns (Battle Mountain, NV), saw Pershing County's soccer squad triumph over Battle Mountain by a count of 6-0.

The Mustangs (7-8) will now prepare for their battle against Dayton (Dayton, NV). The Dust Devils enter the 3A Northern - East battle with a 4-12 record. In their last battle, Dayton was overwhelmed by Churchill County (Fallon, NV), 7-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Longhorns battle the Elko Indians (Elko, NV) in a 3A Northern - East battle, on Wednesday, October 23. Battle Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 1-14 season record.
