The Mustangs (4-5) will now prepare for their battle against Lowry (Winnemucca, NV). The Buckaroos enter the 3A Northern - East battle with a 7-6 record. In their last battle, Lowry was overwhelmed by Churchill County (Fallon, NV), 6-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Longhorns battle the Churchill County Greenwave (Fallon, NV) in a 3A Northern - East battle, on Tuesday, September 24. Battle Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Greenwave enter the battle with a 9-5 record after their 6-0 league win over Lowry (Winnemucca, NV).
