In Thursday's league outing, the host Santa Teresa Desert Warriors soccer squad scored a tight 5-0 victory over the Silver Fighting Colts.

The Desert Warriors (12-4) will now prepare for their outing against Chaparral (Chaparral, NM). The Lobos go into the 4A District 3 outing with a 0-15 record. In their last outing, Chaparral was overwhelmed by Deming (Deming, NM), 2-1, in a league outing.

Next up, the Fighting Colts confront the Deming Wildcats (Deming, NM) in a 4A District 3 outing, on Monday, October 21. Silver will attempt to improve on its 5-11 season record. The Wildcats go into the outing with a 6-12 record after their 2-1 league win over Chaparral (Chaparral, NM).
