In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Campbellsville Eagles volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Monroe County Falcons.
The Eagles (5-20) will now prepare for their challenge against Taylor County (Campbellsville, KY). The Cardinals come into the District 20 challenge with a 23-10 record. In their last challenge, Taylor County beat Pulaski County (Somerset, KY), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Falcons meet the Cumberland County Panthers (Burkesville, KY) in a District 16 challenge, on Monday, October 21. Monroe County will attempt to upgrade on its 18-8 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 19-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Russell County (Russell Springs, KY).
