The Seward Bluejays nudged the visiting Crete Cardinals volleyball team by a tally of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Bluejays (24-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Blair (Blair, NE). The Bears come into the non-league challenge with a 16-14 record. In their last challenge, Blair was nudged by Gretna (Gretna, NE), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Cardinals meet the Adams Central Patriots (Hastings, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 17. Crete will attempt to upgrade on its 3-24 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 17-9 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Holdrege (Holdrege, NE).
