Massachusetts High School Volleyball - St. John Paul II over Nantucket

The St. John Paul II Lions volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Nantucket Whalers to 1 in the Lions non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Lions now have a 10-8 record. They play next when they host Bridgewater-Raynham for a non-league outing on Friday, October 18. St. John Paul II will play a Trojans team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Fontbonne Academy (Milton, MA). The Trojans record now stands at 11-6.

With the loss, Nantucket drops to 5-12 on the campaign. The Whalers travel to Archbishop Williams (Braintree, MA) to play the Bishops in a non-league outing on Saturday, October 19. The Bishops come into the outing with a record of 9-7. Archbishop Williams won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Foxborough (Foxborough, MA)
