California High School Football - Plumas Charter thwarted by Burney

Burney Raiders (Burney, CA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Plumas Charter Warriors (Greenville, CA), 34-20 in a league test.

The Raiders now hold a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Loyalton for a California - Division I (8 Man) test on Saturday, October 25. Burney will meet a Grizzlies squad coming off a 38-8 league win over Tulelake (Tulelake, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 4-3.

The Warriors (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Hayfork (Hayfork, CA). The Timberjacks go into the California - Division I (8 Man) challenge with a 8-0 record. In their last challenge, Hayfork toppled Chester (Chester, CA), 62-0, in a league challenge.
