The Caney Valley Bullpups football squad scored 48 points and limited the visiting Galena Bulldogs to 6 in the Bullpups non-league triumph on Friday.

The Bullpups now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Riverton for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 24. Caney Valley will face a Rams team coming off a 52-14 non-league win over Fredonia/Elk Valley (Fredonia, KS). The Rams record now stands at 4-3.

The Bulldogs (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Baxter Springs (Baxter Springs, KS). The Lions come into the Crawford-Neosho-Cherokee test with a 2-5 record. In their last test, Baxter Springs was overwhelmed by Neodesha (Neodesha, KS), 35-28, in a non-league test.
