Texas High School Volleyball - Burleson over Seguin

Fans at Friday's league contest between the Burleson Elks (Burleson, TX) and the host Seguin Cougars (Arlington, TX), observed Burleson's volleyball team top Seguin by a count of 3-0.

The Elks (18-15) will now prepare for their contest against Centennial (Burleson, TX). The Spartans go into the 5A Region I District 8 battle with a 29-12 record. In their last battle, Centennial dropped by Joshua (Joshua, TX), 3-1, in a league battle.

The Cougars now own a 1-23 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mansfield Timberview for a 5A Region I District 8 battle on Tuesday, October 21. Seguin will encounter a Wolves squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Mansfield Summit (Arlington, TX). The Wolves record now stands at 14-22.
